Welcome to our amazing journey

Thank you for showing an interest in Forget Me Not Children's Home.
Forget Me Not Children's Home is committed to providing vulnerable children with a future by providing shelter, education and most importantly, love. We are so glad that you have chosen to join us in this journey.

Beginning in 2006, Forget Me Not Children's Home now supports 21 beautiful children and young adults and six local staff in Nepal. In January 2010, we spread our wings to Uganda with the initiation of a Sponsorship Project. Subsequently, our Resettlement and Forget Me Not Families Projects were kicked off Uganda in July 2011.

We focus on providing a child centred, family structure for each of the children in our care. We believe that education is power and to this end, our children are educated in great schools. We treat a child's development holistically and provide a well rounded experience for each of our children - much as you would for your own children. Each child is precious to us. Forget Me Not runs on a firm foundation, raising funds here in Australia which support the children's homes. We are based in sunny Hervey Bay, Queensland (about four hours drive north of Brisbane).

Our ever-growing support from corporate, community and individual supporters, all sharing the Forget Me Not Vision, is truly a gift of generosity and love. Following the purchase of over 27,000 sq metres of land in Nepal, we are embarking on our newest adventure – building an eco-friendly, sustainable village which will support an additional 60 children and employ 10-15 local Nepali staff - the Forget Me Not Eco Village.
